BETWEEN LAND AND SEA – LAHINCH BASED SURF MOVIE

Between Land and Sea – A Surf Film About Lahinch

Director Ross Whitaker, along with Kevin Smith, spent one year following six surfers, including Lahinch Surf School’s very own John McCarthy, to create the Lahinch surf film Between Land & Sea. The film has had great success since it’s premier in The Gate in Cork last October. Ross and Kevin have taken our small town of Lahinch, captured the wild rides of our local surf community, both on land along the Wild Atlantic Way, and taken it to a global audience.

Lahinch Surf School’s John McCarthy surfing Aileens, The big wave at the Cliffs of Moher along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Between Land and Sea has had Amazing California Special Preview screening at the renowned Surf Nite at SLO Fest and has even been featured on National Geographic Adventure.

Between Land and Sea will be shown in Lahinch Thursday 13th April 2017!

A Big thanks to Ross and Kev!!!
