In Summer months we have daily family lessons that you can join. The usual requirement is that kids must be over the age of 9 years to join a lesson with adults.

The reason for this is that kids under this age can take up all the instructors attention and the parents don’t get to hang 5.

Mums and Dads there is no age limit when learning how to surf. As long as you’re not much older than Hans from Germany, aged 75, who surfed with us a few summers ago (he actually stood up)!

If you do have a child under 9 years of age, one option is for one parent to supervise, we supply the wetsuit for free, then all ages can join together.

We have lots of STOKED customer feedback from Family lessons on Tripadvisor. PS: In the summertime we do a “Grom Camp”. 

Grom lessons are ages 6 to 8 years, they have a tiny group and get lots of attention. The surf dudes of tomorrow!!
